Dr. Mary Fry received her medical degree from the University of Michigan. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Addiction Medicine, and practices Primary Care Medicine and Geriatrics in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago.
  Dr. Fry has a special interest in doctor-patient communication, and is a faculty member for the American Academy on Communication in Healthcare.  She is licensed to prescribe suboxone for opiate addiction.


She is affiliated with Saint Joseph Hospital in Lincoln Park, a member of the Resurrection Health Care Family.  

Dr. Fry also has office hours weekly at two retirement homes in Lincoln Park, The Hallmark and The Kenwood of Lakeview.

In her office at 2800 N. Sheridan Road (Stone Medical Building), Dr. Fry sees adult patients ages 16 and older.  She provides preventive health care and treats patients with simple or complex medical conditions, from mild to very serious.  She emphasizes working with patients to form a relationship founded on respect and understanding, so that decisions about your health care can be made jointly.  She will try to help you understand the latest advances in medicine, and how your values and needs affect the choices you make about your personal medical care.
